devanooga is an online community for Chattanooga-area developers, aspiring developers, and anyone who works closely with developers. This includes web designers, graphic designers, project managers, technology educators, and more.

- Hacknight: devanooga hacknight is held every other Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm at Workhorse.
ChaDev is central location for Chattanooga developers, programmers, and hackers to ask questions, show off projects, share links, post events, etc. [NOTE: ONLY SELECT GROUPS ARE STILL ACTIVE]

The Chattanooga Unix Gnu and Linux Users Group (aka CHUGALUG) started back in 1999 and is a users group, a mailing list and a community. The group has endured over the decades, despite little in the way of formal leadership, no dues, no membership test, and despite being mostly based in Chattanooga (but with members all over the world).

Chatt*lab is Chattanooga's self run makerspace/hackerspace. Chatt*lab is a shared collective of makers that lease a space to make cool things and learn new ways of making things.

The goal of ChaTech Women is to inspire connect and support women and girls in technology pursuits through education, networking, and mentoring so they may advance professionally and personally. The program offers networking and educational opportunities for both young professionals and established professionals alike.

The Civic User Testing Group (aka CUT) is a group of Chattanooga residents who get paid to provide feedback about the city’s apps, websites, services and more.

The Chattanooga Python User Group has monthly meetings with presentations on/about all things Python. Local python developers, employers, enthusiasts, hobbyists, students and programmers are welcome to join.
The Chattanooga Drupal Users Group meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month with a very simple purpose: Learn Drupal, meet others using Drupal. Have fun.
Carbon Five Hack Night is a bi-weekly, intimate hack night for developers who want to code and collaborate for a couple of hours after work, and other product minded people who want collaborate, learn and socialize.
Bring your own project or work with someone else. Developers of all experience levels are welcome. There will be at least a couple Carbon Five folks around to help out.

The local group devoted to the development of applications and web sites using PHP and related web technologies. They hold monthly meetings in person and via Zoom.

A group of local WordPress developers, designers, and publishers who get together to share knowledge and experience, and to meet other WordPress users in the area. The WordPress meetup is open to all who love WordPress.
People that like to talk about, experiment with, and share information about the Raspberry Pi mini-computer. Topics include programming, configuring, and product development around the Raspberry Pi.
